I wanted to post this post the other day but got another stomach bug grrr.
We made salt dough ornaments the other day. It was a huge mess but they turned out quite cute.

| What a mess! |
It was a cup of flour, a cup of salt and about a half cup of water added slowly to make a dough.
You then roll it out and make shapes, hand prints, whatever.
Then you cook it on 200 degrees for a few hours until it is hard and not sticky anymore. I did flip mine once to speed up the process.
I then painted it with glitter acrylic paints and once that had dried covered it with mod podge to seal it.

We Made That

I have been wanting to make these. I'm glad it sounds fairly easy. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThat stomach bug sure has been going around. I managed to get lucky this time around and not get it, however my hubs and girls were not so lucky. Glad you are feeling better! And wow what a mess, but I just love the hand print, we made these a few years ago but I never did think to do a hand print. Guess we know what we will be doing next year! Thanks for sharing on We Made That!
