Homemade juice

I got the idea to make homemade juice for Destructo from the blog Live Like No One Else.  You can see the original post here.

I tried it with four too ripe apples and two way ripe pears.  I also did a blueberry and strawberries concoction.  It was a huge hit in our household.  I added less than a teaspoon of sugar just to make it not quite so tart and Destructo kept begging for more of mommy's special juice.  Which could also be wine hahahahaha.

I took the left over fruit after I cooked it and pureed it down and put it in the reusable pouches I have.  Kai also liked these pouches.  I used the pear/apples and added a too ripe banana and some butternut squash he refused to eat for dinner and made veggie/fruit pouches.  He seemed to like them nearly as much as store bought and it is a great way to use up veggies or fruit that are too ripe to eat.  Check out my reviews of two different brands of reusable pouches here and here.
